THE BRAND
Pigmenta is a handmade art supplies brand started in August 2017 by artist and printmaker Pia Meenakshi.
​
In a traditional European atelier, an artist always learnt how to make their paints and supplies while learning the art of painting. This inspired Pia to begin making her own paints years before the brand was born.
​
After years of fine tuning recipes she finally decided to launch her brand and started specializing in handmade watercolours.
THE ARTIST & MAKER
Pia Meenakshi is an artist and printmaker based between Bangalore and Coorg, India.
​
She is a maker by nature and making the perfect products to suit her artistic need was the driving force behind Pigmenta.
